Sprague employee earns NPMA Impact Award

Tacoma, Wash.-based Sprague Pest Solutions’ Ashley Roden, BCE, was recognized with the 2024 National Pest Management Association’s (NPMA’s) Impact Award for Women in Pest Management, which were announced on March 8, International Women’s Day.

Roden has been with Sprague for over a decade, starting as a route manager in the Seattle branch working on multiple high-profile accounts. Her current position as technical and Quality assurance manager showcases the company’s commitment to recognizing talent and fostering leadership irrespective of gender.

The NPMA Impact Award for Women in Pest Management is presented annually to women who have made significant contributions to the industry, including leadership, mentoring, and community involvement. This award recognizes the dedication and hard work of women in the pest management industry and their contributions to their communities. Roden’s appointment marks the second year in a row where women at Sprague have been recognized for their contributions in the industry.

Ashley’s recognition is a proud moment for our entire team and reinforces our commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment,” AJ Treleven, director of operations at Sprague Pest Solutions, said in the news release.

Roden holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in environmental health and entomology from the University of Georgia. She is a member of the Pi Chi Omega professional fraternity and the Urban Pest Management Technical Committee.
