Arrow University VP becomes GPCA officer

The Georgia Pest Control Association (GPCA) appointed Arrow Exterminators’ Alyson Gilleland as the new secretary/treasurer of for the 2024/2025 fiscal year. The appointment marks the beginning of a four-year commitment to the GPCA board, with Gilleland set to progress to VP, president and finally, chairperson of the board in subsequent years.

A native of Cherokee County, Ga., Gilleland brings over 15 years of service at Arrow Exterminators, where as the current VP of Arrow University, she has helped foster a culture of excellence. Her leadership has helped establish a training programs that ensure exemplary service and professional growth among team members.

Gilleland’s new role on the GPCA board highlights her ongoing commitment to the pest control industry. She has been an avid volunteer with the GPCA for a decade and also serves on the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) Quality Pro Board. Her appointment also sets a milestone as she becomes the fourth female overall to be appointed to the GPCA board.
