The Catchmaster Pro team is dedicated to developing advanced solutions for pest management professionals (PMPs). We have developed a multi-catch device that works with our existing Nos. 72TC and 605 or 607 mouse snap traps. Our Catchmaster No. 611 Dual Action Twin Catch features a raised roof to increase PMPs’ trapping options.

The No. 611 was conceived for sensitive accounts where clients do not want rodents to come in contact with glue boards. Our No. 72TC Series Mouse & Insect Glue Board can be folded along the integrated perforation line and installed into the trap to create an exclusion wall, preventing rodent contact with the glue board while still allowing PMPs to capture cockroaches and other crawling insects. The effectiveness of capturing cockroaches and silverfish can be increased by using one of Catchmaster’s No. 701 Roach Attractant Tablets on the glue board when installed.

Rodent pressure continues to increase globally, and the regulatory climate has become increasingly more restrictive, with no sign of moderating. We have been working on increased-sensitivity wood and plastic snap traps, as well as multiple snap trap housings and tunnels to maximize trap efficacy and provide PMPs with more placement options.

PREDICTIONS: Changing weather patterns and annual warming trends have provided rodents across much of the globe with extended favorable breeding conditions — as well as greater availability of potential food items. PMPs will need to emphasize excellent integrated pest management (IPM) practices by being able to budget habitat modifications, removal of conducive conditions, and exclusion practices into new and existing pest control programs. Excellent traps and trapping techniques, as well as more effective attractants, will increase in importance thanks to progressively restrictive regulations.
