Northwest Exterminating, a Rollins company based in Marietta, Ga., acquired Gilstrap Exterminating, a pest control company that serves residents and businesses throughout north Georgia and metro Atlanta. The company was founded in 2015 by Melanie and Jamie Gilstrap. The move allows Northwest to grow its presence in the Peach State.
“Choosing Northwest was about trusting a company that would continue to care for our team and customers the way they deserve. Growing Gilstrap has been a great adventure, and we know the business is in good hands with the Northwest team,” Melanie Gilstrap said in a news release.
Melanie and Jamie Gilstrap will hold positions within Northwest Exterminating, focused on development and business efficiency moving forward. Their team will continue to serve customers from the Dawsonville office.
“It’s always exciting to welcome a team who is truly customer-focused,” said Scott Eubanks, Northwest vice president of industry relations. “Gilstrap Exterminating has a great reputation but an even better team. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow together.”
The move continues Northwest’s growth as it recently acquired Enviroguard Pest Solutions, which expanded Northwest’s footprint to better serve Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia.
