Pest control professionals are on the front lines every day protecting homes, businesses and communities from the serious health and structural threats that pests pose. With April marking National Pest Management Month, and peak pest season approaching, it’s the right moment for pest control companies to lead the conversation in their local markets and help the public fully understand the value of professional pest management.

“In a survey conducted online by The Harris Poll on behalf of the National Pest Management Association, 52% of U.S. homeowners reported using a licensed pest control professional in the past year, and that tells us the industry is doing something right,” said Jim Fredericks, executive director for the Alliance, in a news release. “There are still millions of homeowners who aren’t using professional pest control services. National Pest Management Month is our chance to reach them, so we’re asking every company in this industry, no matter the size, to use April to work together and make that happen.”

Tools to celebrate and inform

To make participation as easy and unified as possible, the Alliance has developed a ready‑to‑use toolkit of marketing and outreach materials exclusively for Mainframe subscribers. The toolkit provides everything companies need to run a polished, on‑message campaign, including a customizable press release, suggested social media content and graphics, official logos, and additional materials to help recognize the technicians and staff who safeguard the public from pests.

The National Pest Management Association also released resources, sponsored by Syngenta, available on its website. Resources follow the theme ‘Pest Management Protects’ and include customizable e-cards for colleagues and staff, as well as ready-to-use graphics and copy for social media platforms.
