Douglas Products undergoes planned CEO transition

Liberty, Mo.-based Douglas Products and Packaging Company LLC (Douglas) announced a planned leadership transition designed to support the company’s continued evolution and long-term growth as a specialty chemicals provider. Effective January 5, 2026, Colin Gouveia has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Andrew Klein, who has transitioned to an active role on the company’s board of directors.

This transition reflects deliberate succession planning and the company’s focus on aligning leadership capabilities with the next stage of its strategic journey as a global protector of food safety, public health, biodiversity and economic resources. Douglas plays an important role in enabling safe, reliable and effective solutions that support customers operating in highly regulated and mission-critical environments.

Gouveia on the transition

Gouveia brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across specialty chemicals, advanced materials and global industrial markets. Most recently, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Rogers Corporation (NYSE: ROG), a global specialty materials company. Prior to Rogers, he has held senior leadership roles at Eastman Chemical, Taminco, Dow, Rohm and Haas and ICI, businesses that serve performance-driven, highly regulated end markets where safety, reliability and innovation are paramount.

Klein shares confidence in Gouveia
