Cumming, Ga.-based Mattress Safe, a provider of premium mattress protection solutions, announced that it officially achieved certification as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), marking an important milestone in the company’s commitment to diversity, innovation and inclusive leadership.

Following the appointment of Andrea Hancock as CEO in 2025, Mattress Safe met the federal requirements to apply for and earn this selective certification. The designation underscores the company’s dedication to operational excellence, strong governance and empowering women in business.
“At Mattress Safe, we believe diverse perspectives strengthen our ability to serve customers and grow responsibly,” said Hancock in a news release.
The company thanked its employees, partners and customers for their continued support and looks forward to building on this momentum in the years ahead.
The WOSB certification process is meticulous, including an in-depth review of the business and a site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm that the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by women. WOSB certification positions Mattress Safe to compete for supplier diversity contracts that many corporations and government agencies specifically set aside for women-owned businesses.
