Minneapolis, Minn.-based Plunkett’s Pest Control, Inc. recently announced its acquisition of Prompt Action Bat & Pest Control, a family-owned business founded in 1989 by Jerry Hanson.
Between 1999 and 2007, Hanson’s sons Stephen, Shane, Jared and Brant joined the company, eventually purchasing the business in 2013 and continuing the family legacy of providing trusted, high-quality pest and wildlife control services. This acquisition strengthens Plunkett’s presence in the region and underscores its commitment to delivering reliable, customer-focused solutions rooted in shared values and professionalism.
For more than 35 years, Prompt Action has earned a strong reputation for its quality workmanship, knowledgeable staff and commitment to core values. The company has remained deeply rooted in its community, with a team known for professionalism, longevity and genuine care for customers’ homes and businesses.
