Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotion of Chris Parps to sales manager for the company’s California and Nevada service offices. Hill will be based out of the company’s Corona, Calif., service office.

Parps joined Truly Nolen in March 2025 as a manager-in-training. Before joining the company, he spent six years with another company in the pest control industry. In addition, he is a proud veteran who previously spent eight years in the Navy under the combat search and rescue team stationed in NAS North Island in San Diego.
In his new role, Parps will oversee sales processes throughout California and Nevada, along with helping to develop a high-performing sales team.
“I am most excited about helping to teach and elevate our sales team because I love sales and the challenges each day brings as we head towards our goals,” Parps said in a news release. “My favorite thing about working for Truly Nolen is our culture and the fact that everyone is willing to help one another be successful. It is refreshing to know you have help just a call or text away.”
“Chris’ true passion for sales, leadership and his attention-to-detail made him the perfect person for this role,” said Damon Evans, area manager in California and Nevada. “I am extremely excited about Chris’ continued growth and I am proud he is a member of our team.”
Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotion of Michallea Small to operations manager of the company’s Brandon, Fla., service office.

Small joined Truly Nolen in 2020 as a termite technician in Phoenix and became a termite supervisor before entering the company’s manager-in-training program. Before joining Truly Nolen, she worked in retail management at companies such as Famous Footwear and Ross — she also spent 12 years in the supermarket industry. She earned her associate’s degree in business with a minor in illustration at Fullerton College in California.
Some of Small’s new responsibilities will include helping the service office continue to maintain visibility with the local Brandon community as well as instilling the company’s core values throughout his team.
“The most exciting thing for me becoming Brandon manager was both the opportunity to relocate across the country from Arizona to Florida to begin a new life and to develop a team around me that will help us achieve all of our goals,” Small added in a news release. “My favorite thing about working for Truly Nolen is that our company embraces differences and recognizes the strength that comes from those differences.”
“Michallea’s friendly personality, attention-to-detail and passion to succeed has shown through during her time with our company, which made her the perfect person for this role,” said Nelson Gonzalez, senior operations manager, Tampa Bay. “I look forward to seeing her future growth and success and I am proud she is part of our team.”
