There are many kinds of traps available to pest management professionals (PMPs). One type of device commonly used for capturing unwanted mice is the multiple-catch trap, which is designed to keep working until serviced. Placing the trap in a known travel route usually will yield desired results. They’re typically designed to hold an internal glue board that facilitates rodent removal and cleaning. Perceptive technicians have learned by experience and observation that mice often jump onto the tops of these traps. By using an extra board on top of a newly installed multiple-catch trap, PMPs can take advantage of this behavior and capture them on the sticky surface.
