Taking Your Show on the Road – Fleet Vehicles as Billboards

By

February 5, 2016

Do you use your fleet vehicles to market your company? Probably. Though it’s standard to have your company’s logo adorn some area of your truck, you might be surprised by some of the other viable possibilities — many of which are growing in popularity every year.

Turn back the hands of time to our April, 2014 issue to see an outstanding example of how one company, VanWal Pest Elimination, in N.C., uses truck wraps to outstanding effect. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about, truck wraps are what they sound like. There are companies across the country that specialize in customized wraps — plastic graphic imagery that literally wraps around your vehicles featuring, well virtually anything you can think of to promote your business.

But that’s only one tactic for turning your vehicles into billboards. Check out our upcoming February issue to see how Truly Nolen uses its fleet to put it’s company’s name on the road every time they roll off to a new job, where hundreds of potential customers can see it. Maybe you’ll feel inspired by some of these innovative uses of fleet vehicles and find a way to apply them to your business.

Do you use the vehicles in your fleet to help build brand recognition? If so, we’d love to see some photos of your fit-for-the-road advertising. Email them to me at wnepper@northcoastmedia.net and maybe we’ll post them on our FB page, mypmp.net, or here – on our blog.
