Tips & Tricks: Place German cockroach bait near harborage

In any given German cockroach (Blattella germanica) population, only about 7 percent of the population are adults. This means the vast majority of the population (about 93 percent) is comprised of younger nymphs.

Nymphs are more likely to stay close to their harborage — and the closest food they can find to their harborage is the one on which they’ll feed. Place bait as close to harborage areas as you can; the less distance they have to travel away from their harborage, the more likely they are to find and eat it.
