Dr. Lewis retires from UC-Berkeley

Dr. Vernard Lewis As first forecasted in his 2016 PMP Hall of Fame profile at the time of his induction, Dr. Vernard Lewis retired July 1 from the University of California, Berkeley. He caps a 35-year industry career, the last 26 of which were at the university working with termites, bed bugs and cockroaches. Dr. Lewis has gained the title professor emeritus from the university.

On an editorial note, the PMP staff wishes Dr. Lewis and his family happiness and health, and looks forward to his next chapter in pest management after he takes some time off to relax, per the UC article.
