For football fans, the best thing on TV this month is the Big Game. For pest management professionals (PMPs), it is Pest Posse TV.

The content The Pest Posse is offering in February is right in line with its mission to be a trusted resource for training and information PMPs need to sharpen their skills and gain knowledge.

“In February, Pest Posse TV will provide some great content — from express training on bed bugs in multi-family housing to a smart way of managing your important pest control-related documents,” says Foster Brusca, co-founder of The Pest Posse and a Pest Management Professional (PMP) Editorial Advisory Board member.

Check out The Pest Posse TV lineup for February:

  • February 14: Casey Prewitt from Neogen — provider of pesticides, rodenticides and SureKill hand sanitizer — will discuss the company’s history and the products available to those in the pest control industry.
  • February 21: Chip Hughes from LabelSDS.com will explain how the company’s system can save time managing product labels and safety data sheets, as well as important documents that may be needed for commercial accounts.
  • February 28: Tom Muller from Insects Limited will focus on the SightTrap integrated pest management solution and how it has been implemented successfully in several accounts since its launch in 2019.
  • Live Stream Replay: The Pest Posse TV Facebook Group and LinkedIn held a livestream on Feb. 7 with guests Chris Brasher from WorkWave and Danielle Collinson from Blades of Green. They discussed with Brusca and co-founder Culley Christensen how the labor shortage is affecting the pest control industry. Highlights include the tried-and-true technique Christensen used to make sure potential new hires were right for a job in pest control, employee incentives for referrals, taking the time to make plans for a desirable company culture, and the role technology plays.

Pest Posse TV is accessible on The Pest Posse website and features new weekly video content — tips, techniques, product reviews, training and pest control-related industry updates — to viewers who sign up for free.

To encourage PMPs to sign up for a free Pest Posse TV membership, The Pest Posse launched The Great Pest Control Giveaway. The next drawing is Thursday, Feb. 10, and PMPs who sign up will be eligible to win pest control products from several pest control manufacturers.

“If you are not a member of Pest Posse TV, join today because the membership is free,” Brusca said. “Right now, we are providing everyone an opportunity to win some amazing prizes from some great manufacturers just for signing up. Who doesn’t like free stuff?”

Also on Pest Posse TV is Today’s PMP, which airs the last Saturday of every month. Created in partnership with PMP magazine, the series checks in on the latest developments in the pest control industry and takes a sneak peek at the upcoming issue of PMP.

The Pest Posse is based in Santa Clara, Calif., and provides a continuing online and in-person training solution, as well as consulting options, to PMPs and small- to medium-size pest control business owners.
