Douglas Products recently hired Cavan Bruederle as business development manager.

Bruederle spent over 14 years at Cardinal Professional Products, where he managed several territories along the West Coast. Within these territories, the focus is on the tree nut market, specifically almonds and walnuts. There, he distributed post-harvest fumigants, became the “go-to guy” for ProFume fumigant, completed product stewardship training for all fumigants and gained a rich understanding of pest control.

“I am thrilled to be joining a wonderful team at Douglas Products,” Bruederle said in the news release. “I have worked alongside the Douglas Products team throughout my time in the industry, so I am looking forward to being part of the Douglas Products team.”

One of Bruederle’s biggest accomplishments in his previous role was his leadership with a company that was fumigating for the first time with ProFume. In this role, he led site walk-throughs and training sessions, and he was a fundamental piece in getting the job started. Despite the challenges, this was, and continues to be, a huge success for this specific company.

“We are so excited that Cavan is joining Douglas Products,”said Aric Schroeder, chief revenue officer at Douglas Products. “His deep integration and understanding of the West Coast region, extensive knowledge of ProFume and unique experience globally will make him a key asset to the Douglas team.”

On a personal level, Bruederle raises sheep to be bought and shown. He spends his free time volunteering for livestock and agricultural committees for 4-H, local county fairs and high schools. He also enjoys spending his time working on cars and motors.
