Cockroaches are highly adaptable insects that thrive in a variety of environments, from exterior to interior settings. They are attracted to areas with shelter and abundant food sources, such as kitchens, pantries and food-handling facilities. Cockroaches love areas with high humidity and warmth, around appliances and water fixtures. Cockroach infestations can be challenging to identify and treat, thanks to their nocturnal behavior and ability to hide in small cracks and crevices.

In addition to being a nuisance, cockroaches pose significant health risks. They can carry and transmit various pathogens, which can cause disease.

To effectively control cockroach infestations, it is crucial to identify and eliminate food, water and shelter sources using targeted treatments, such as baits and insecticides. IGRs also are highly effective treatments, as they effectively inhibit the insect life cycle and reduce callbacks.

Educating customers about the importance of sanitation, proper food storage, and maintenance can help prevent cockroach infestations.

By working with customers, PMPs can create an environment that is less conducive to cockroach activity, reducing the need for repeated treatments and ensuring long-term control.
