Pests that have an impact on public health are the topic of the FMC True Champions First Friday webinar, which will be held May 3 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern.
FMC Product Development Manager Dr. Edwin Afful will present “Public Health Pests.” The one-hour webinar will provide an overview of the pests that have an impact on public health. It also will offer best practices for the control of these pests.
Dr. Afful is originally from Ghana and migrated to the United States nine years ago to pursue his entomology degree at Kansas State University. Before he joined FMC, he served as an executive director at contract research lab i2lResearch Inc. in Baltimore, Md.
The First Friday webinar series is part of the FMC True Champions loyalty program. It is free to attend, however, only FMC True Champions members can receive continuing education unit (CEU) credits. FMC True Champions have an opportunity to earn CEUs in selected states.
