Four tips to help overcome difficult wildlife removals

The difficult wildlife removals are what separates you from the crowd. So is using professional baits and lures above cat food, peanut butter or other store-bought products.

Four more tips include:

1. Not all wildlife responds to the same to baits and lures. Just as fishermen have multiple choices in their tackle boxes, your wildlife bait box should have several options.

2. Cover the bottom of your cage trap for skunks or groundhogs with soil or mulch. It will significantly improve your catch rate.

3. Raccoons are omnivorous. Instead of just using meat-based products, sweet baits and lures can perform just as well — without catching cats or drawing wildlife to the location.

4. Certified training can greatly improve your skills. The mistakes trainers have made in their careers are covered so you don’t repeat them.
