Truly Nolen promotes 2 management positions

Truly Nolen recently announced the promotion of two leadership positions for its Florida and Arizona service offices.

Florida lawn and insulation division manager

Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotion of John D’Abruzzo to Florida lawn and insulation division manager. D’Abruzzo will remain based out of the company’s Pompano Beach service office.

D’Abruzzo first joined the company in May 2010 and has held multiple positions, including his most recent role as Area Manager for Broward/Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. Prior to joining Truly Nolen, he spent 26 years in the food operations industry with companies such as Nabisco and Bay Valley Foods.

He recently earned his Associate in Certified Entomology (ACE) designation and has frequently answered questions for media outlets regarding everything from insects and rodents to lawns and insulation.

“I am most excited about the opportunity of helping to grow the revenue in both of these departments, while facilitating a ‘Yellow Standard’ experience for our customers and expanding the knowledge of our partners,” said D’Abruzzo, in a news release. “My favorite thing about working for Truly Nolen is being able to determine the trajectory of your career and having the support of the company to help you succeed in whatever professional goals that you may have.”

National contract and asset manager

Truly Nolen also announced the promotion of James Adams to national contract and asset manager. He will remain based at the company’s Chandler, Ariz., service office.

Adams joined Truly Nolen in May 2011 and has held multiple positions within the company. In February 2022, he became the Area Manager overseeing Phoenix, Prescott and Flagstaff. Before joining Truly Nolen, Adams worked in management for Sony as part of a 14-year tenure in retail management with most of his time spent working for Hollywood Video as a store manager, district manager and regional manager. He attended the University of Arizona, where he studied Biology.

Some of Adams’ new responsibilities will include overseeing property and lease management, fleet oversight, customer contract review and customer damage claims.

I am also looking forward to continue working on and implementing efficient processes that protect the organization and give our leadership team peace of mind as we grow,” Adams added in a news release. “My favorite thing about Truly Nolen is the perfect combination of scale and culture.
